Sports Fun(d)’s Goals:
- Address barriers for sports

- Develop non-traditional sports opportunities
- Promote community involvement to develop scholarship opportunities
Our goal is to create affordable, accessible and healthy sports opportunities for underserved youth in Louisville by:
- Supporting local partnerships
- Collaborating with youth programs on new initiatives
- Advocating for children’s health through sports

Louisville Metro Parks
In partnership with Metro Parks, launch youth soccer leagues in Newburg, Shawnee and Wyandotte Parks, and recreational swimming programming in Algonquin, Sun Valley and Fairdale Parks.

Expand youth tennis program in Louisville’s Central Park
Kentucky Indiana Volleyball Academy
KIVA and the USA Volleyball Pioneer Region are matching SportsFun(d)’s grant to launch girl’s volleyball leagues at the Creation Center in the Portland neighborhooe.
Louisville Fencing Center
Increase education and fencing opportunities with the Louisville Fencing Center and Jefferson County Public Schools
West Louisville Tennis Club
Secure coaches and session-ending shoes for participants of the West Louisville Tennis Club summer clinic.
Louisville Flaget Rams Youth Sports
Provide football equipment to enable more boys and girls to participate.
West Side Track Club
Help more kids participate in track and field meets where cost is a barrier.
